Biography: Yohei Kanazaki was larger than most boys growing up. During his high school years, Kanazaki spent a year abroad where he played American-style football. Despite being recruited by several big-name schools, Kanazaki instead returned to Japan to pursue his college studies. Still an athlete at heart, Kanazaki soon took up rugby where he was rather infamous for his ferocity and toughness. With an insatiable desire for competition, Kanazaki would even take up amateur boxing where he would collected an impressive 4-0 record. Soon, his wandering ways found him in the NEW Fury Gym where he began his formal pro-wrestling training. While lacking the finesse and agility of his contemporaries, Kanazaki is unquestionably a force to be reckoned with amongst the 1st class roster.
