Biography: The son of 80's star Kendo NAKAI, Tetsuhisa Nakagawa received special training by Kazuma Fujita enroute to his professional debut in August of 2002 due to Fujita's close friendship with Tetsuhisa's father. Nakagawa became one of the initial roster members for Pro-Wrestling FURY when the company was founded later that year. His rivalry with Hiroaki Nakata would be one of the highlights of the company during its early years. While Nakata had the better of Nakagawa (now NAKAI,) Tetsuhisa would eclipse him the following year. Controversy would follow NAKAI throughout his career due to a falling out with Kazuma Fujita over philosophical differences. As a freelancer, NAKAI began competing in hardcore deathmatches to the surprise of many fans. While thriving in the ruthless environment, NAKAI would be lured back to the company by Nakata himself in early 2008 where the two have since developed a strong partnership. Despite leaving the company once again a couple of years later, NAKAI would return for the company's final event on October 25, 2012. In 2015, NAKAI opened the "New FURY Gym" with Hiroaki Nakata. The dojo would form the basis for New FURY Pro-Wrestling.
