Biography: Trained by the legendary Kazuma Fujita and debuted alongside him against Hiroshita Yagato and Tetsuhisa Nakagawa (NAKAI) in August of 2002. Soon after the creation of Pro-Wrestling FURY, Nakata ascended to the top of the class by winning the "REVIVAL SERIES" tournament to claim the vacant UJPW Heavyweight title -- a championship held in the past by Fujita. Nakata would engage in a long rivalry with Tetsuhisa NAKAI over the position of "Ace," with NAKAI eventually winning out in 2003. Throughout FURY's decade-long history, Nakata was always a threat for the company's top championships. After FURY's closure in 2012, Nakata wandered the Japanese independent scene with other ex-FURY stars before signing with promising upstart Kingdom of Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2015. However, the company was a complete bust financially, leading to its collapse towards the end of the year. While working for KJPW, Nakata and Tetsuhisa NAKAI opened their own training school. While the dojo would not have a name for several months, the dojo would finally be christened the "New FURY Gym" following KJPW's closure.
