-- From the New FURY Gym facilities in Osaka, a very special presentation was held in which the first five graduates of the New FURY Gym would receive their ring costumes for t heir 12/21 debuts... However, the event was ruined by a ghastly assault by the hands of Norihiro Akashi and Daisuke Iwakuma!
The presentation began with a quick re-introduction of the five first term graduates: Shuusaku Kaito, Masatoshi Aoyama, Yohei Kanazaki, Shogo Takeda, and Kazuya Itoi. The five rookies appeared in high spirits as they are soon to embark on their lives as pro-wrestlers. Co-Principal Hiroaki Nakata was on hand to personally hand each rookie their respective attires. Before doing so however, Nakata explained that it is customary to make a rookie wrestle in basic trunks for a time as a way of paying dues. Admittedly, this is an archaic practice. While there is something to be said for paying your dues, New FURY Pro-Wrestling will welcome its first class with quality uniforms appropriate for the ring.
One by one, Nakata handed each rookie a box containing their ring costume. With their teacher's approval, the five opened the boxes, revealing their attires to the media.
Kazuya Itoi was given a gold unitard with silver designing, in addition to something all five costumes would have: the New FURY Pro-Wrestling emblem. Itoi commented on the high quality of the material, before bestowing a bow of appreciation to Nakata.
Shogo Takeda's outfit would turn out to be short trunks, colored gold and silver. While greatly appreciative, Takeda playfully commented that his probably cost less to make than Kazuya's.
Yohei Kanazaki would too be given a modified unitard similar to Itoi's, but with shorter legs in addition to tassels dangling along the bottom. Like the others, it too would share the gold/silver colors. Clearly impressed, Kanazaki commented on the trunks likeness to TAKU's old ring attire. He too would bow before Nakata in thanks.
Despite his standoffish demeanor, Masatoshi Aoyama thanked "Nakata-sensei" before even opening the box. His costume would turn out to be a pair of short tights -- again, colored gold/silver. Aoyama coyly joked, "Was everything in gold and silver on sale...?"
This left Shuusaku Kaito, who had yet to open his box. Before he could however, two masked men burst into the room, attacking Principal Nakata from behind! A muffled, but familiar voice could be heard under one of the masks. "WE'RE HERE, NAKATA! DIDN'T YOU LISTEN!?" the man shouted, before stamping down on the back of the injured Nakata's neck! "..Oh, well, I've probably already spoiled the surprise." The other quipped, "Nice one, Norihiro..." The two carelessly tossed their masks away, revealing Norihiro Akashi and Daisuke Iwakuma!
The quick and sudden siege left the five rookies utterly stunned and unprepared. Sizing the five up, Akashi broke the silence by SNATCHING Kazuya Itoi's ring costume from out of his hands. With a sinister smile across his face, Akashi looked the outfit up and down. "Daisuke! Look how cheap this shit is! And everything is gold and silver! Was there a sale on everything gold and silver!? What a joke!" To the absolute horror of Itoi, Akashi ripped the unitard end-to-end! With the poor rookie in shock, Akashi finally planted his foot into Itoi's gut, before smashing the ruined ring costume into his face! This prompted Iwakuma to attack Shuusaku Kaito and Shogo Takeda with two swift kicks! Following Akashi's lead, Iwakuma would tear both of their outfits to shreds -- all while laughing maniacally! Yohei Kanazaki, the most hot-headed of the five had enough, and RUSHED the two! However, Daisuke and Akashi both met Kanazaki with boots to the midsection. Taking a nearby chair, Iwakuma SMASHED the piece of furniture across Kanazaki's back! Finally, the two worked together to tear his outfit in half!
This left Masatoshi Aoyama, who was cowering in the corner! Daisuke and Akashi would take pleasure as they closed in on Aoyama. Fearing the worst, Aoyama was surprised to find the two helping him up... Turning to the reporters, a sudden and eerie calm seemingly came over Akashi as he began to address the reporters.
"When we returned to this country, we vehemently protested the very existence of this company and everything it stands for. We told them that their precious rookies would be destroyed. We put them -- AND THEIR teacher down in a matter of seconds. What makes them -- or anyone else think that it will be any different inside of the ring? Please, if you want to see the total annihilation of an upstart group in one night -- come to this show on December 21st. You will not be disappointed. If you're wanting to relive times long gone, and want to continue carrying a torch for something that will never be... Well, you're more likely to see Kazuma Fujita himself in the ring again!"
Grabbing Aoyama by the back of his shirt, Akashi turned his attention to the fearful rookie.
"As for you... I want you to send a personal message to your teachers and classmates... The Spiral is here! And now you will fall!"
Leaving just enough time for Aoyama to ponder what he just said, Akashi kicked the rookie in the stomach -- just in time for Daisuke to SMASH a chair across his back! Adding one final insult, Daisuke tore his outfit to shreds before throwing the remnants over his body... The two casually walked out just in time for New FURY staff to tend to the injured victims... While the five rookies were quickly rushed to the back for medical attention, an angry Hiroaki Nakata promised to take revenge in the ring on 12/21.
